The Walton Business group was created in 2005 to support businesses in the Walton-on-Thames area. This support covers:

• Promoting members goods and services
  
• Being a collective voice on business issues
  
• Providing business support to its members
  

The WBG promotes members through:

• Its own members directory and social media
  
• Monthly members newsletter
  
• Access to local promotional opportunities through town wide and business events
  
• Regular press coverage for the group and members 
  

WBG represents your business through:

• A collective voice to Elmbridge Borough Council, Surrey Police and Surrey County Council 
  
• The Walton Retailers Group, Pubwatch and The Elmbridge Business network
  

WBG can provide business support through:

• Putting members in touch with each other
  
• Referring members to local support services
  

 WBG's Successes include:

• Promoting 300 local businesses
  
• Arranging over 40 events in order to allow members to tell others about their business
  
• Building the business crime prevention groups in Walton
