Based at Dunsfold Park in Surrey, the Top Gear test track was built on an old RAF airfield by Lotus engineers. It's designed to test cars to their vert limits. It includes a range of corners, from the slow and technically challenging Hammerhead to the fast and terrifying Follow-Through, to expose any weakness in a car's chassis. A car has to be fit as well as fast if it wants to hold a good place on the famous Top Gear power lap board!
