The Remarkable Studio

Peter Searight has been a keen amateur photographer since childhood and set up The Remarkable Studio in 2004.

Peter says, "I have always been fascinated by photography and firmly believe that you should never go anywhere without a camera. From teenage years, my favourite artists have been the Impressionists and the way that their use of light brought ordinary scenes to life has been an inspiration. The use of natural lighting conditions is a key aspect of my photographs."

Landscapes and outdoor scenery remain an important part of Peter’s work, and he has received a number of commissions in this area, as well as broadening his photographic interest into other areas, including portraits of people and pets. Photographing dancers has been a challenging recent commission.
