Low Crime, Great Services... - is this all Surrey?
For some time now we can use online services to pay tax, browse libraries, register for NHS services and other public services. We also hear about how safe or dangerous is our county and why is good or bad to live here.
We thought that there is more important work to do online than just to create another online info service for Surrey. Our aim is to create place for everyone to ask, express themselves this should brought to us all information about real day-to-day life in Surrey county. Surrey-Online attempt is to create web friendly environment and support services run by public money like surreyonline.info or local borough .gov.uk websites.
According to various TV shows and independent surveys some Surrey boroughs are among 20 the most desirable places to live in UK. At least three Surrey boroughs are permanently on the list. At some point we could here from Elmbridge representative that Elmbridge is London's Beverly Hills . All this has its roots in Halifax Report from 2006 which is pointing high quality of life and wealthy society structure. Epsom & Ewell and Guildford Borough are also among usual top twenty places to live for Channel4.
As we are committed to local community we hope to achieve reply from you about real standard of live in Surrey base on your own opinions whether you are individual, business, no for profit organisation we want to help you to build your own knowledge base about Surrey and places within Surrey
Overwhelming number of services which we can currently use online can lead some of us to situation where we are not using these services at all as they look to complicated and confusing. Please do not be overwhelmed by another service - here - it is your opinion which counts.
