Surrey at risk of more fires?

Surrey at risk of more fires?

As the summer continues to heat up Surrey and much of the South East, talks to change firefighter working hours also continue to heat up. Fires across the county are at their most dangerous during a hot summer.

Recently a fire in at a dump in Molesey sent smoke into the sky, worrying nearby residents and local workers. And now a disastrous tower block fire, currently being treated as suspicious, at the Cambridge Estate in Kingston upon Thames has left sixty families homeless.

Does the risk of strike action worry you at these times? Is it really fair to increase working hours of our brave firefighters who already do an incredible job for London and some areas of Surrey? Let us know your thoughts, join our forum and discuss.
