Surrey Student Competing in the Apprentice

Surrey Student Competing in the Apprentice

22 Year old, Laura Moore has taken time away from studying Management and International Business at the Royal Holloway college in Egham, Surrey to compete for a chance to become Lord Alan Sugar's latest apprentice.

In her audition she emphasised her contribution as a management consultant, where she brought in more than £500,000 of new business last year. Laura debuted as a contestant on the show last night, where she had to sell sausages on the streets of London.

There is a lot of criticism of how contrived the set up of the show is. Many people suggest that the 'contestants' are picked based on how much good television they would make. Very much akin to Jedward's inclusion on the X Factor TV show.

Hopefully Laura can prove herself business worthy next Wednesday at 9pm on BBC1, as her team 'Apollo' managed to sell more sausages than her competitors, 'Synergy'.

Even if she's not the best apprentice candidate, at least she's pretty fit!
