Unless you've been living under a rock for the past two days you will have noticed it's snowing in Surrey!
A light dusting of snow has caused minimal disruption (and maximum fun) to most areas in Surrey. However some areas have been hit harder, schools in and around Guildford and Reigate have been closed.
For a full list of school closures go to the
Surrey County Council site.
Most train services only had minimal delays however train services from Reigate and Redhill and Tonbridge in Kent were not running due to signalling problems.
Traffic conditions on motorways have been described as 'Absolutely treacherous' by Supt Chris Moon, of Surrey Police. The combination of freezing temperatures and heavy snow has caused gridlock in some places. Motorists have been urged to avoid the M25 if possible.
For updates on all travel and transport in london and Surrey go to the
BBC Travel News site.
