Surrey is Happy to Volunteer for Good Causes

According to an online poll 49% of Surrey residents are already volunteering, and 42% of respondents wish to participate in some sort of volunteer work in the future.

The poll was run by Have Your Say (a campaign run by Surrey’s public sector organisations that allows Surrey residents to have their say about the delivery of future public services).

Although there were only 100 responses to the poll (which represents less than 1% of the Surrey population), however it gives some hope for the libraries of Surrey, 11 of which have been marked for what Surrey County Council has called "Community-led Management". These libraries include Bagshot, Bramley, Byfleet, Ewell Court, Lingfield, Molesey, New Haw, Stoneleigh, Tattenhams, Virginia Water and Warlingham.

What do you think of the "Community-led Management" have your say in our Forum!
