Surrey is a great place to be this Christmas with a whole host of festive fun. Including getting some Ice Skating under your belt and the chance to meet Santa!
When thinking of Christmas many of us, think about helping others and this year the Princess Alice Hospice
Santa Fun Run is doing exactly that. On the 14th December Santa's will descend on to Richmond Park for their 5k Santa Run with all proceeds going towards the Hospice.
Santa himself will be visiting
Chessington Garden Centre this year. You will have the chance to see Rockett the Reindeer and then, via the magic of the wardrobe enter the World of Narnia and meet Santa!
Craft markets have been part of the festive traditions in Surrey for a number of years. This year
Staines and Wokingham are hosting their own Craft fairs which will feature a range of different Artisan Christmas crafts, which could make great presents or help to remind you of Christmas in 2014.
This Christmas, it's important to remember this year is the centenary of WWI. Therefore
Dorking Museum are offering the chance to see what local villages were doing during the outbreak of war. During 1914 Princess Mary gave the Armed Services a Christmas Gift Box which you can see an example of and have the chance to create your own.
Santa is very busy this year but we're told he has chosen to visit Surrey more than once. He will be visiting
Crockford Bridge Farm, where he and his enchanted helpers will be awaiting your arrival in the secret forest.
If you're after a great christmas setting this year
Hampton Court's Ice rink is perfect. With the Palace architecture, smooth Ice Rink and a night beneath the stars, this is one of our favourite surrey attractions.
