Easter is a great time for kids and grown ups, with nice Spring weather, bank holidays and of course, Easter Eggs.
Surrey and surrounding areas are an egg-citing place to be this Easter with many activities and fun being held. Here is a list of some of our favourites, so you can enjoy the 2018 Easter festivities Surrey has to offer.
A fun day outdoors will be
Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt who teamed up with The National Trust. There you can hunt for hidden clues and solve puzzles with your family to have the opportunity to find a chocolatey prize. The company is hosting egg hunts in over 250 locations. Runnymede, Isleworth and Richmond being the closest to us.
Oxted town centre will have two
free family friendly trails covering both main high streets: the Easter Bunny Trail on Station Road East and the Easter Chick Trail on Station Road West. Easy-to-follow clues will lead families into the high street shops and chocolate hot spots popping up in local businesses. Successful clue hunters will have the chance of winning one of two overall prizes.
The Wintershall cast and animals come to
Guildford's High Street to re-enact their annual Passion play. This is a free this open air event. Parental guidance is advised as the performances contains a realistic interpretation of the crucifixion.
The Easter Bunny will be hiding chocolate eggs all over Surrey as he hops around the county. In celebration of
Birdworld’s 50th Anniversary year, Percy the Penguin has hidden no less than 50 eggs around the 26-acre park, waiting for you and your family to find them.
