Freehand and Web Competition in Surrey

Hello Everyone - we are Looking for Talent!   
Surrey-Online is growing nicely and we are keen to improve its image too. We believe that there are a lot of top young people in Surrey who have some great skills. We are looking for some local freehand artists, comic book fans and people who can create great graphic compositions to join our competition - young developers and people with web ideas in general. The most important thing is that we are looking for raw talent so if you have not published before and have no commercial experience then this is the perfect competition for you. We are happy to announce that this competition is also open to creative groups so if you are a bunch of guys or girls from a Surrey-based school/organisation looking to present your skills to the world, feel free to join.
   This is a project for creating a website for Surrey people.
There are four categories:
- Design only - freehand and art (for individuals) - you must create some sort of artistic decoration for the interface, a character, comic story, abstraction which will be possible to use online as website decoration. 
- Layout design - art of usability (for individuals) - create a revolutionary layout design which is user friendly
- Developers/Coders (you do not need to know a coding language to do this)  - the best bit of software - create/come up with an amazing widget, a bit of software for a website, write some code which will improve user experience or will be good fun - You do not need to code, you can create this in your head and describe it on paper (no longer than 350 words description)
- All in one project (for creative groups and individuals) - If you are a creative group or very versatile individual you can go all the way. You must at least do two out of three tasks above. If you complete three this will be immediately to your advantage.

You can now just sit down and write/create your project but we strongly advise to do reserach prior to any work.

All projects must be useful for website creation.
This competition is open to all creative people age 12-125 (if you are 126 or above we want to hear from you anyway;-)

- Free own website with Picture Gallery and CMS system to present your portfolio and £500 worth contract for graphic web design, web development
- Internship in professional web design agency for members of the best creative group or developer on different positions (design, development, online marketing) During this work experience you will get the chance to develop or revamp a website for your school, scouts group or other local non-for-profit organisation.
