I saw the accident from the start and it was horrible, the road was such a mess, the male slowly died at the scene, the paramedics put the ambulance in the way of the crowd so he went in peace. It is such a shame cuz it was the males fault who was on the bike, for taking over a the alpha romeo. The driver of the bus which was involved, was taken to hospital, very shocked. All the passengers off the 411 bus were tranfered onto another bus with ease and the police did really well to divert traffic, although roads coming into Kingston were heavily jammed. This accident was one that was bound to happen as I only live in the student halls across the bridge. Each day I walk over Kingston Bridge, most bikes think its time to 'show off' and try and get the highest speed limit out of their bikes, lets hope that the sad death of this male will lead an example for us all, and put an end to careless driving in this area. I would also like to add, if you have any respect all dont post fotos of the accident, the one to the right is enough for us to see what happened, alot of people at the scene were zooming in and taking close up photos, for respect of his family, keep them to yourself!

I'm quite shocked to see this since I had no idea about it until just now. And Im usually in Kingston every weekend, but fortunately not this time. It looks like a really nasty accident and one that Im glad I did not witness. I really feel for the poor families involved, especially for that of the male who lost his life. I've nearly been involved in an accident on this bridge last summer due to someone speeding past on the right hand lane just to get infront.. and then cutting back into the left leaving just feet between us without indicating, causing me to brake sharply. All just so that they could get back into the left lane in time for the left turn past TGI Friday's... I hope some people might learn from this accident. Personally I think something should be done with the 2 lane system on the bridge, i think it should more clearly show drivers with plenty of warning which lane to merge into, further back on the bridge. At least then people will have no reasonable excuse for changing lanes suddenly at the last possible moment.
